The Opportunity:

The Ecommerce Operations Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of the operational processes within the ecommerce component of our business. Their primary focus is on ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and smooth functioning of the day-to-day operations related to inventory management, order processing, and the supply chain within the ecommerce channel.

The Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses, ensuring that products are adequately stocked to meet customer demand
• Utilize data and analytical tools to forecast inventory needs and trends, helping the business plan for future demand
• Oversee the end-to-end order fulfillment process, from order placement to delivery, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Build and maintain strong relationships with warehouse partners (3PL), ensuring efficient communication and collaboration
• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and potential improvements
• Analyze shipping data to ensure accurate pricing, identify cost-saving opportunities
• Conduct month-end reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory levels and financial reporting
• Update and maintain Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) spreadsheets that will be used by key stakeholders to make financial and strategic decisions
• Use relevant software and tools, such as Warehouse Management Software (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Netsuite), and advanced spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets).
• Provides routine support to the Director of Operations with regards to data entry, document preparation and reporting
• Maintain a proactive and results-oriented approach to support the overall success of the operations department

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in inventory and/or planning
• 1+ years in an ecommerce setting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with Netsuite or other ERP systems is an asset
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software (WMS) is an asset
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-directed problem solver; proactive and resourceful
• Bachelor degree in business is an asset

Salary: $60,000- $75,000 depending on experience
