We are currently still in an R&D phase, but we are ready to start the actual production of anode foil. LeydenJar Plant One will open in 2026.
About the job

As a Machine Learning/Data Science Intern in the Silicon R&D Team, you will play a key role in the development of a digital twin for the production of pure silicon anodes using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). Specifically, you will preprocess machine-sensor data and train machine learning models to predict the product properties and identify production anomalies in real-time. Therefore, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of (data) scientists and engineers, while presenting regular updates on your progress.

Your primary location can be in Leiden or Eindhoven and it is acceptable to work remotely for one day a week. The duration of the internship would be a minimum of 6 months and must be required by your university.
