Job Description

You will be our all-around genius who understands our and our customer's technology. You'll analyze the customer's system, plan and design piping and duct systems that connect to our high performance storage system. You will support our team - skills that will perfectly contribute to our growth strategy!


YOUR WORKING DAY:

  • Design, plan, and optimize piping and duct systems for high-temperature applications
  • Develop piping layouts and detailed designs, considering installation aspects, technical guidelines, and process requirements based on P&ID and PFD
  • Conduct static stress analyses for various load cases using CAESAR II and interpret stress results
  • Create detailed technical drawings, including:
  • Isometric drawings
  • Sectional 2D drawings
  • Standard drawings of pipe supports
  • Support project management in the areas of piping and plant design
  • Ensure compliance with American and European norms and standards, such as ASME B31.3, EN 13480-3, Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and AD 2000
  • Work on modularization of systems to improve scalability and efficiency
  • Support the packaging of components for optimized assembly and transport
  • Maintain and create technical records and documentation

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in piping design and construction
  • Strong expertise in piping layout design and stress analysis
  • Hands-on experience with critical media such as steam, compressed gases, and oil systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and stress analysis software like CAESAR II
  • Solid understanding of relevant norms and standards (ASME B31.3, EN 13480-3, PED, AD 2000)
  • High level of personal responsibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Goal-oriented, analytical mindset with a structured and motivated work approach
  • Very good command of German and English
