Job Description

About Kojo

It's time to build. Whether it's creating more housing, upgrading our infrastructure, or adapting to climate change, one thing is clear: the construction industry is at the center of solving our biggest problems. We’re making buildings cheaper and easier to build by transforming the way commercial construction companies buy their materials. Join us.

Founded in 2018, Kojo is now one of the fastest-growing construction technology companies in the world. Construction accounts for $10 trillion in global spend annually and we can’t live without its output - our roads, schools, hospitals, and offices. Despite this, there’s been very little innovation over the past 70 years in how materials - which constitute up to 40% of project costs - are bought and sold. This is our opportunity.

We’re looking for an amazing Solutions Architect who will represent our product on enterprise sales alignment demos, manage integrations with our newly-onboarding customers, and implement creative and complex solutions for our existing clients’ business needs. This role reports directly to our VP of Customer Success and works closely cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering to deliver outstanding results for our customers.

About the Role

This role will include:

  • Working closely with Customer Success, Engineering and Product teams to deliver an effective and thorough integration implementation for newly-acquired customers
  • Developing a high level of product expertise with keen awareness of product capabilities, shortcomings, and workflow options
  • Maintaining expert-level knowledge of functionality and flexibility of Kojo’s ERP integrations
  • Developing understanding of functionality and use cases of the most common ERPs Kojo’s customers use (Sage, Quickbooks, Spectrum, ComputerEase, etc.)
  • Effectively training relevant users on Kojo’s ERP integrations
  • Building reference materials and collateral for customers to self-serve on integrations and solutions when possible
  • Customizing demo integration functionality with Account Executives on technical Sales calls
  • Expressing customer needs to Product in a way that maintains customer’s perspective while understanding the broader Kojo product roadmap
  • Engaging with and collaborating on product roadmap by representing integration needs

About You

What you’ve accomplished:

  • 5+ years working in customer-facing role in SaaS, software, or technology-based environment, with experience in Tier 2 support or technical implementation management
  • Ability to read and understand API Documentation a plus
  • Familiarity with construction industry and enterprise accounting software a plus
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and documentation skills
  • Moderate experience with Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Proven track record of operating autonomously and strategically in a customer-facing role

What you care about:

  • Innovation: You look for “10x” solutions, You seek to understand the truth behind problems and find solutions to them
  • Customer Obsession: You understand that what might be small things to us make a huge difference for them, You seek to understand their pain
  • Accountability: You are motivated by having the space to make your best judgments about what should be done and how to do it, You establish clear next steps and do what you say you’ll do

The salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $115,000 for candidates located in the US. The role is remote with <10% travel required. See details about compensation ranges below.
