| What will I be doing? Lead the localisation efforts for our products and pricing capabilities, ensuring they meet the specific commercial, regulatory, market, and cultural requirements of retailers in Europe. This will include European localisations such as indexation and unbundled energy products as well as broader market promotions and discounts. Deep dive into European energy market structures and regulations for designated countries, translating complex needs into detailed product specifications. Understand the broader context of piercing and selling products in Europe and the required tooling, workflows and models to accelerate our retailers. Collaborate intensely with clients and in-country experts to understand their unique needs and requirements. Define and manage detailed product requirements for features related to country-specific needs to support energy products and pricing Work closely with engineering, UX, and QA teams to ensure the successful implementation and testing of localised billing functionalities. Act as the go-to expert for global teams on specific European market nuances related to energy products and pricing and related customer journeys. Continuously monitor changes in European energy legislation and market practices, proactively adapting the product roadmap to maintain compliance and competitiveness. |
| Ideally you’ll have/be Proven experience as a Product Manager with a strong track record of successfully localising complex software products for international markets. Solid understanding of the end-to-end energy lifecycle within a European context, with a particular focus on retailer commercial operations. Direct experience with specific European energy markets, understanding their unique regulatory frameworks and requirements Exceptional ability to translate abstract regulatory text or client requirements into clear, actionable requirements for development teams. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, operations, client success) to deliver localised solutions. Excellent communication skills, able to articulate technical and market complexities to various stakeholders, including clients. What will set you apart Deep, hands-on experience with the French or Belgian energy retail markets, particularly concerning their energy products and pricing specificities. Proficiency in a second European language relevant to key target markets (e.g., French). Experience with large-scale data migration and integration projects involving legacy billing systems. A background in energy commercial operations or regulatory affairs within a European energy retailer. |
