Where in the world of Kaluza will I be working? You’ll be working across both Product and Technology: Kaluza’s Product community: A group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems. Kaluza’s Technology community: A large team of both data-led and product focused Software and Production Engineers, pushing the boundaries of technology and working at an extraordinary scale. What will I be doing? You’ll be working within our delivery management function. The delivery management organisation’s mission is to: Shepherd: Guide Product and Tech delivery management practices within the teams you are supporting. Simplify: Internal reporting & risks to drive action. Standardise: Process and practice to drive consistency across Product and Tech. Serve: Alongside our Product and Tech partners to drive development forward in the organisation at pace. Be Neutral: Provide objective, internally facing data and insights on how things are going to drive action by appropriate owners. We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Lead Delivery Manager to own and drive the timely and successful execution of our product and technology roadmaps for our clients. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership and direction, partnering with leadership functions in Product, Engineering, UX and Client Delivery to support the delivery of strategic goals and to provide confidence around what we’re able to deliver further ahead. Role responsibilities: Shepherd: Guide Product & Tech delivery management Lead Delivery Management of the Product & Tech roadmap in your area. Engage with product roadmaps and technical delivery. Align with Client Expectations: Collaborate with Client Delivery leadership to ensure deliverables meet client capabilities, support needs, and timelines. Ensure that client feedback is integrated into the delivery process. Ensure that Delivery Management standards are followed within your area: Management and optimisation of capacity plans, tracking actuals vs estimates. Tracking and reporting of initiatives milestones and deliverables. Management and resolution of dependencies across teams to ensure smooth progress and prevent delays. Simplify: internal reporting & risks to drive action. Boost Organisational Effectiveness: Implement established practice within your teams and refine ways of working to foster a scalable and adaptable Product & Tech organisation. Implement processes and tools that enhance efficiency and productivity, e.g. Agile & Lean. Act as a change driver and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Standardise: process and practice to drive consistency across Product & Tech. Clarity on Teams’ Effort Distribution: Drive analysis of effort distribution, ensuring that team efforts are aligned with strategic priorities. Facilitate data-driven decisions by ensuring delivery information reaches the right stakeholders, and maintain a strong effort-to-value ratio in your area. Serve: alongside our Product and Tech partners to drive development forward in the organisation. Eliminate barriers hindering Product teams from dedicating time to innovation and strategic planning. Allow Engineering teams to concentrate on technical excellence and execution. Support the Delivery & Portfolio function in achieving its strategy & goals. Manage and develop local Delivery Managers: Set objectives and provide focus and clarity to the Delivery Managers in your area. Support your team to navigate complexity & uncertainty. Bias towards focusing our efforts on the goals of Kaluza and our client commitments. Improve effectiveness of Delivery Management in your area. Upskill the team through mentoring and coaching, and showing the team what good looks like. Be Neutral: provide objective, internally-facing data and insights on how things are going to drive action by appropriate owners. Guarantee that clear and transparent reporting is consistently available to stakeholders and clients. Proactively escalate issues and risks, championing effective collaboration and decision-making with senior leadership.
Is this the job for me? You should be an experienced Delivery Manager with a successful track record: Able to lead the end-to-end delivery of digital/technology products using agile methodologies across cross-functional product teams. Excellent understanding of product development process and software development life cycle, with an openness to follow current practices within Kaluza and refine where needed. Experienced in leading Delivery Management, line-managing and developing people. Able to build strong relationships and be a trusted partner across Product & Engineering leadership. Able to influence senior leadership across the organisation. Strong coaching abilities to empower teams and colleagues to reach their full potential. Comfortable switching between team-level detail and executive-level overviews. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Have a good, working knowledge of Jira, Craft or other roadmapping tools, with a curiosity towards using JQL and existing tools to generate useful dashboards and reports to drive development forward at pace. Able to draw on experience to apply the right approach in the right context. Comfortable with uncertainty and adept at bringing people along on a change journey. Worked in scaling a high-growth SaaS business. Apply customer centricity in the way that you work. Language skills - French & English
