Overview

Jua is on a mission to achieve artificial general intelligence (AGI) by delving deeply into physics, the universe, and their relationship with human civilization. We are operating a foundational earth systems model. Our first model is capable of predicting atmospheric physics globally, with state-of-the-art performance in comparison to existing weather models.

As we scale the model, more applications like wildfire, flood or vegetation prediction become possible. Our flagship product is an API designed for weather-dependent power and energy traders, offering superior accuracy, lower latency, and a higher refresh rate, especially during critical events like hurricanes and cyclones.

With substantial venture capital backing at a sensible valuation, our first objective will be to provide businesses and countries with several orders of magnitude better and faster weather forecasts. Our multidisciplinary team combines expertise in machine learning, physics, aerospace, data processing, and UX design to create a crucial component for a sustainable world amidst changing climate patterns and increasing extreme weather events.

What we’re looking for

As Jua.ai’s first Senior Account Executive, you will show the market that a small AI startup can now outperform governments and large companies with billions of annual budgets and dedicated supercomputers by several orders of magnitude on all performance metrics. Your primary focus will be assisting clients in recognizing potential revenue growth and business expansion opportunities stemming from our groundbreaking technology.

In this position, you'll play a crucial role in instilling a sales culture that values unwavering success and prioritizes customer service marked by the utmost professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

  • A high-achiever with a demonstrated track record of sales success
  • 7+ years of experience in high-growth early-stage startup sales
  • A highly coachable individual with a history of rapidly adapting to new environments
  • Someone who embodies radical candor and possesses unwavering determination
  • Previous success in selling new product categories as opposed to being a "price configurator"
  • Consistent and proven record of selling 6 figure annual recurring revenue contracts for lesser-known brands
  • Experience using a variety of sales channels, including online marketing and telephone
  • Quick learner and highly adaptable, with the added advantage of international or cross-industry experience
  • Possess a high technical aptitude and a hunter mentality
  • Must be based in the London and open to travel at least once a month
  • Previous experience in energy and power markets, weather, machine learning or AI products, or related fields

  • Engage in both inbound and outbound sales strategies effectively using online and telephone communication

  • Leverage high technical aptitude to understand and sell our software and technology products
  • Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies
  • Travel as necessary within Europe to engage with prospects and clients
