Things you’ll do in this role:

• Hire, grow, support and manage the performance of (currently 2) engineering managers and a few senior individual contributors.
• Foster a diverse and healthy engineering culture that allows your team to deliver customer value quickly and consistently over time.
• Partner with product and design peers to define the roadmap and drive outcomes.
• Help your team design the systems and make technical decisions that impact our product and infrastructure.

Things we’re looking for:

• Proven experience leading engineering teams, ideally as a manager-of-managers in startup environments.
• Prior experience as a software engineer—we want our leaders to be able to empathize with their team.
• Passion for building a business-minded engineering culture.
• A strong belief that we can do things fast and well at the same time.

This role isn’t for you if:

• You want a remote job. We value in-person collaboration and spend three days a week in the office.
• You prefer staying within your area of expertise and operating in structured environments. We navigate ambiguity at extreme pace and everyone is a generalist.
