Job Description
Isometric is the AI-native certifier of climate solutions.
We combine scientific rigor with best-in-class technology to unlock the capital and trust needed to reverse climate change.
Our customers, including Microsoft and Google, trust us to help them avoid greenwashing.
We’re looking for doers with a bias to action. Our team is brilliant and cares (a lot).
Join us for the most impactful role of your career—and the best job you’ve ever had.

Things you’ll do in this role:
- Work with project developers to develop code to quantify net carbon removal or reduction in biosphere projects going through Isometric’s validation & verification process, in line with Isometric protocols. This includes:
- Conducting AGB estimates;
- Developing dynamic baseline approaches;
- Developing uncertainty quantification approaches.
- Support Isometric’s commercial team in providing bespoke indicative analysis to inform potential project developers about their carbon sequestration potential.
- Abstract the bespoke solutions you develop for project developers into reusable code components.
- Collaborate with the Data Science and Biosphere Science teams at Isometric to review and adapt your approaches.
Things we’re looking for:
- Proficiency in data analysis, geospatial data and using cloud-hosted tools (e.g. BigQuery, Jupyter).
- Strong Python skills, with experience in data abstractions, pipeline management and integrating machine learning solutions.
- Clear communication skills and skilled ability to work with customers.
- Adaptability to evolving priorities and a proactive approach to solving impactful problems, especially in dynamic environments.
This role isn’t for you if:
- You want a remote job. We value in-person collaboration and spend three days a week in the office.
- You prefer staying within your area of expertise and operating in structured environments. We navigate ambiguity at extreme pace and everyone is a generalist.
