At IONITY, we’re building and operating our own cutting-edge e-Mobility backend system. As an IT Product Owner, you’ll take responsibility for a defined functional domain within this platform. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and Product Owners from other domains, you’ll help shape the product roadmap and turn vision into reality.

• Own the product lifecycle of specific backend domains and lead their continuous evolution
• Translate product features into actionable, well-defined user stories ready for agile development
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely and valuable delivery
• Define sprint goals, write clear acceptance criteria and test cases
• Collaborate with other Product Owners to ensure alignment across domains and seamless system integration
• Lead and actively participate in all agile ceremonies (e.g., planning, reviews, retrospectives)
• Monitor sprint progress, resolve blockers, and support incident handling during releases
• Gather and refine requirements from internal stakeholders, balancing technical and business needs
• Coordinate development activities with external partners and service providers when required
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical field
• 1–3 years of professional experience as an IT Product Owner or IT Project Manager
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with hybrid approaches (Agile/Waterfall)
• Excellent communication skills in English - German is a plus
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams with empathy and clarity
• Curious and self-driven personality with a willingness to quickly learn new topics
• Strong analytical skills combined with a creative, solution-oriented mindset
