Job Description

To help us maintain visual excellence, technical accuracy, and rollout consistency across countries, we’re looking for a versatile and hands-on team member to join our Design & Standards team.
This role is made for someone who blends design precision, visual creativity, and operational rigor and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

Your Mission
As a Architectural Site Design Manager (f/m/x) – High Power Charging, you will be the creative and technical backbone of our rollout team, contributing to the design quality of EV sites across Europe and ensuring our standards are flawlessly applied.
What You’ll Do

  • Produce and refine site plans using AutoCAD and SketchUp from concept layout to 3D visualization for projects across all European markets.
  • Support tender submissions with compelling visual materials: 3D mockups, renders, and layout packages tailored to site-specific needs.
  • Design ready-to-print signage (e.g. construction panels, info boards, banners) using Photoshop, InDesign, or other graphic design tools.
  • Be the standards guardian for WP1 across Europe: ensure every site rollout complies with the architectural and branding guidelines set by the team.
  • Validate all plans before construction launch, ensuring consistency, feasibility, and alignment with local constraints and IONITY’s quality expectations.
  • Act as the go-to design resource for diverse project requests from layout tweaks to visual storytelling for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, marketing, rollout managers, and external partners across Europe. We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with creativity and a strong drive to get things done:
  • Degree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent in the construction industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or building projects, ideally with on-site experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and preferably 3D rendering tools.
  • Solid understanding of civil engineering, land title boundaries, and ground conditions.
  • Familiar with relevant local regulations and permitting procedures (e.g. CDM).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with public authorities and private property owners.
  • Fluent in the local/native language (including technical vocabulary).
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about sustainable mobility.
  • Valid, clean driver’s license.
  • Location: Central EU preferred
