Job Description

ION Mobility is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Test & Validation Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in developing the next generation electric motorbike development. We appreciate creative hustlers, people who can think outside the box, inspire and get stuff done even if it seems impossible. Responsibilities

  • Lead and support defining Bike Level Test Procedures and create Pass/Fail Criteria to assess test results in order to validate Bike Design Requirements are met.
  • Plan and execute bike level dynamic and static test activities per test plans developed in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Track and review Design Verification Plan and Report (DVPR) to address program risks.
  • Ensure Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEAs) are complete, thorough, and up to date. Work with Design and Engineering teams to complete FMEAs.
  • Track, review and generate Requests for Testing (RFT) to validate risks have been successfully mitigated.
  • Ensure validation results from RFTs are documented in the DVPR.
  • Manage test priorities ensuring higher priority projects have precedent in the testing schedule.
  • Be responsible for retrieving, storing and analyzing logged data from tests and compare to design specifications.
  • Write detailed test reports recording subjective and objective findings and any issues.
  • Provide input and engineering analysis to development teams.
  • Manage the Bike validation process activities during the product design lifecycle from product concept to production launch and maintain critical path timing.
  • Manage test properties, ensuring they are built correctly and on time to meet program validation deliverables.
  • Develop validation plans for priority rankings for each test property.
  • Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Develop new test plans in conjunction with design and engineering teams, suppliers or 3rd party testing facilities.
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa is required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree is required.
  • Experience working with a cross-disciplinary team of hardware and software engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in an engineering or scientific field related to automotive and/or consumer electronics.
  • Understanding in automotive design, verification and reliability engineering.
