Responsibilities:

• Production Planning: They plan the production process, organize the production sequence, and determine the tools and equipment needed to produce goods.
• Process Improvement: Production engineering are often involved in identifying and implementing production process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Equipment Maintenance: They are responsible for ensuring that production machines and equipment function properly by performing preventive maintenance and repairs when necessary.
• Quality Control: Production engineering monitors and controls product quality throughout the production process, including product inspection and testing.
• Inventory Management: They help manage the inventory of raw materials and components required for production so that there is no shortage or excess of stock.
• Safety and Environment: Production engineering ensures that safety practices and environmental guidelines are followed in the production environment.
• Employee Training: They can provide training to production operators on proper work procedures and equipment usage.
• Project Management: involved in the management of special projects related to developing new products or improving production processes.
• Technological Advancements: They must stay up-to-date with new technological developments that can improve the production process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or manufacturing related field. Relevant degrees include Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of production processes, production machines and equipment, material technology, and engineering principles. They must also understand computer processing and relevant software.
• Analytical Capabilities: The ability to analyze production data, identify problems, and design process improvements is essential.
• Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate well with production team members, management and other departments. Effective speaking and writing skills are required.
• Project Management Capabilities: Have to manage complex production projects. Project management skills are invaluable in this regard.
• Software Skills: Mastery of relevant software such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, simulation software, or data analysis software can be an advantage.
• Safety and Environmental Compliance: Awareness and understanding of workplace safety practices and environmental compliance is critical, especially in high-risk industries.
• Minimum has 3 years experience in related field.
• Has a certification, such as Lean Six Sigma certification or occupational safety certification can be an advantage.
• Proficiency in English.
