We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Battery Pack Production Engineer (or more senior) to join our production engineering team in Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the production process, creating PFMEA, control plan and continuous improvement of battery pack production.

Job Requirement

1. Ensure that battery packs meet quality standards and vehicle requirements
2. Develop and implement production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase reliability
3. Manage continuous improvement to improve production cycle time and reduce waste
4. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
5. Assist in the creation and tracking of PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and other production documents
6. Design and improve production fixture and material fixture to assist production
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
8. Create and maintain documentation for production processes and procedures
9. Work with equipment maintenance team to implement and improve TPM
10. Work with the equipment teams to verify new production equipment to ensure that it meets our process and production requirements

Qualifications

Mandatory

1. 5+ years of experience in process development, improvement and manufacturing
2. Strong experience in fixture design and improvment.
3. Skilled in PFMEA, control plan and quality control document creation.
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

1. Knowledge of battery technologies and battery pack assembly processes or automotive production background.
2. Strong knowledge of PLC and automation control systems.
3. Strong CAD and assembly drawing skills.
4. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Reporting Structure

This position will report directly to the Battery Line Manager

Work Environment

This is a full-time overseas posting based out of our office/factory in Jakarta, Indonesia, with occasional travel to Singapore headquarters and remote coordination with our China office.
