About You:

To be an ideal candidate for this role, you must have previous experience in construction and carpentry, which may include framing, renovations, restorations, or single-family housing construction. You should also enjoy learning a variety of construction tasks, including window installation, waterproofing, and installing insulation.

You prefer learning in team settings, have good communication skills, and can read and follow instructions. You have a keen eye for detail and a willingness to assist the team in process improvements that contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work in a very busy, output and quality-focused team, so you must be highly adaptable and able to handle changing priorities with a positive attitude.

What you Will Do:

As a Carpenter Helper/Apprentice on our production team, you will work alongside carpenters, helpers, and ABB robots under the supervision of experienced Carpenter Leads.

You’ll continue to build your carpentry and construction skills while supporting the prefabrication of mass-timber envelope and floor cassette products. You’ll gain hands-on experience with materials such as mass timber, Rockwool insulation, air and moisture membranes, windows, and various cladding types. Depending on your assigned area, you may assist with kitting, layout preparation, or assembly tasks.

The scope of your responsibilities will vary based on you’re your experience/apprenticeship level (I – IV), with increased skill and independence expected at each stage.

This position is based primarily indoors, offering a stable and weather-protected working environment throughout most of the day.
