As a Service Development Engineer (m/w/d), you will support our new developments in the industrialization phase and make them ready for use in the field. You will contribute from the very first second to ensure that a Design-for-Service approach is guaranteed in our products, beginning in the prototype development phase. Your deep technical understanding of the products and their functionality allows you to take a look into the future and anticipate possible error patterns during operation at an early stage. You develop concepts to avoid or correct those and incorporate them into the product design through constant feedback. By accompanying the products in the first months on the market, you ensure that your concepts can also be implemented in practice.

• You design smart concepts for a long service life and low downtimes by contributing your expertise over different pattern phases
• You develop methods for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting, implement them together with the product developers and validate them both during development and in series production in the field
• You multiply your built-up expert knowledge and pass it on to our highly motivated service technicians by developing technical service concepts that serve them as a basis for fault diagnosis and repair both in-house and in the field
• You act as a contact person (m/w/d) for outsourcing projects and the support of our external service partners
