• Testing our products with various measuring and testing equipment
• Documenting the measurement and test results in the ERP system and in test reports and initiating corrective measures in collaboration with the production team
• Creating and managing inspections in incoming goods and production
• Managing defective items in the blocked warehouse and carrying out briefings on new inspection instructions and complaints
• Initiating corrective measures and finding solutions for simple quality deviations
• Collaborating with suppliers and internal production on the release, findings, dimensional analyses and CIP of products
• Checking measurement recordings and test gauges for the corresponding technical specifications (technical drawings, CAD data records)
• Planning and calibration of test equipment, test equipment monitoring including measuring system analysis (procedures 1-3)
• Completed training as an industrial mechanic, tool mechanic, process mechanic or similar
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the quality inspection department of a manufacturing company
• Knowledge of quality assurance and the use of measuring and testing equipment as well as ERP systems and MS Office tools
• Understanding of G, D & T drawings (Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good knowledge of German and English
