Job Description
Duration: June 10-Aug 30 (with some flexibility to meet school calendars)
About the opportunity:
Report on climate technology startups, academic research and funding in the Pacific Northwest’s climate tech hub.
Generate your own story ideas, receive assignments, and report and write stories for publication on GeekWire.
Receive mentoring and editing from GeekWire staff, while working independently and meeting deadlines.Application requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in journalism or communications with a focus on news coverage, or demonstrated experience in journalism
Three writing samples from a college publication or other news outlet
