What you’ll do:

• Continuously improve engineering culture by coaching and serving as an example of best practices to various software development groups on Scrum and agile values & principles
• Foster & nurture collaborative discussions with engineering leads, product managers/owners, and key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure proper alignment on milestones & deliverables
• Manage effective conflict resolution between individuals and teams with an assertive yet friendly attitude in order to assess, prioritize, and mitigate arising issues & blockers
• Maintain a tactical & strategic mindset to identify possible technical roadblocks that could affect project success and bring impacted stakeholders together to create proper plans of action
• Ensure all scrum activities & cross-functional communications are tracked and kept up-to-date
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and regularly communicate status to teams and leads
• Create and improve processes for managing software projects and support standardization & maintenance of engineering processes and best practices for the cross-functional organization

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• At least 4 years of related professional experience managing relationships and indirect reports.
• Proven track record at facilitating dynamic meetings, coaching teams, and delivering high impact, high quality software in a sustainable & productive fashion
• Experience using Jira in complex & agile projects involving matrixed functional teams to forecast development schedules and possible project impacts
• Ability to clearly articulate project information, team up with other project managers, and effectively present & maintain constant communication streams within the organization and external partners/customers.

Nice to have:

• CSM / SAFe / CAPM / PMP certification a plus
• Experience with complex cross-functional software projects in a matrixed environment
