What you’ll do:

• Work across Vehicle Engineering and stakeholder teams to develop and integrate systems for autonomous robotic forklift vehicles.
• Develop system and subsystem requirements. Work with stakeholder teams to define interface requirements and decompose them to engineering design requirements for Vehicle Engineering.
• Define interface control documents, boundary diagrams, block diagrams to design and integrate complex electro-mechanical systems and firmware software.
• Own and drive successful system integration. This includes, but is not limited to, writing and executing verification test plans, conducting prototype testing, analyzing data and writing reports, ensuring requirements traceability, hosting requirements alignment discussions, leading systems DFMEA, managing and resolving issues.
• Lead system integration activities including prototype testing, vehicle build bring-up and commissioning, end of line processes, and leading internal and field issue resolution.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in systems engineering, systems integration engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge in systems engineering principles and the ability to lead the process and methodology.
• Experience developing and building complex electromechanical systems including firmware/software, vehicle system integration and build, and leading requirements verification testing for mechanical, electrical, and firmware/software.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment, excellent follow-through, self-starter, and effective communicator. Experience leading technical projects.

Nice to have:

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Startup experience at companies that are scaling fast.
• Experience in autonomous vehicle development.
• Knowledge and experience of autonomous vehicle development, systems, sensors, mechanical, electrical, and software integration.
• Strong experience in structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge and experience with development of diagnostics and fault management systems.
• Experience leading technical projects, setting project milestones, and tasks.
• Position will involve travel (up to 15%) at testing facilities, customer sites, and vendors.
