This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a new product at the cutting edge of clean technology.

What you'll do:

  • Define, manage, and execute a test program that aligns with product verification goals
  • Collaborate with design engineers to define test procedures and performance metrics

  • Maintain data integrity across software-defined data pipelines, external data acquisition systems, and ad-hoc field measurements
  • Work with design engineers and field technicians to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware issues and software bugs
  • Analyze data from completed tests and communicate findings to design engineers and other stakeholders
  • Establish standard processes for commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance that are implemented by internal Project Engineering and Operations teams
  • Up to 50% domestic travel to prototype project sites

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar
  • 5+ years experience with field applications of power systems, including commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working with communications protocols, particularly Modbus TCP, DNP3, MQTT
  • Demonstrated experience leading root cause analysis for electrical systems such as inverters, power distribution components, and energy storage systems.
  • Conscientiousness about electrical safety; trained in high-voltage risk assessment and safety protocols
  • Experience with data management, analysis, and visualization software such as Python or MATLAB
  • Ability to set daily work priorities independently
