Role Description

We’re looking for a Junior Manufacturing Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of manufacturing projects under the guidance of senior / Staff Manufacturing Engineers . This role assists in various project management tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication, with the aim of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. The Junior Manufacturing Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects. This role is based out of Form Energy's Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. Relocation Assistance is available.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets . Contribute to the identification of project deliverables, milestones, and success criteria. Support the implementation of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Resource management : Assist in allocating resources (manpower, equipment, and materials). Coordinate with team members and department managers to schedule tasks and monitor progress. Assist in resolving resource conflicts and prioritizing activities to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Documentation & Reporting : Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and meeting minutes.Generate regular progress reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in problem-solving and corrective action activities to address quality issues.
  • Stakeholders communication: Assist in facilitating communication between project teams, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.Provide support in responding to stakeholder inquiries and requests for information.
  • Risk Management : Assist in identifying project risks and uncertainties, and maintaining risk registers. Support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Alert senior management to emerging risks or issues that may impact project outcomes.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
  • Some experience in project management or relevant internship experience is desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
