  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues as they come up in the lab and field
  • Develop and execute test plans for component functionality and safety validation
  • Evaluate alternative design options on cost and system performance implications
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project engineers and external partners

What you'll bring:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience in product development in renewable energy or battery systems
  • Demonstrated experience in electric power generation, distribution, energy storage, or drivetrains
  • Experience with laboratory test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, high-voltage differential probes, current probes, power analyzers, data acquisition modules, etc.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CANbus) and controllers (e.g, PLC), and scripting data acquisition systems using e.g., Python, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in interpreting NEC, international installation codes, UL-508 and CE electrical safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain design decisions, summarize observations, and absorb information and requirements from other teams
  • Ability to travel to project sites independently for bring-up and diagnostics
