About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the design vision within a fast-growing tech company. As the Head of Product Design, you will play a critical role in driving design excellence, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a seamless user experience across our products.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced design leader to join our team. You will be responsible for setting the design strategy, mentoring a team of talented designers, and ensuring high-quality execution across all design initiatives. If you are passionate about creating impactful product experiences and leading high-performing design teams, we’d love to hear from you. Specific areas you’ll work on:

Creative Leadership:

• Define, communicate, and champion the design strategy across the organisation.
• Drive impactful design initiatives, ensuring high execution standards within the team.
• Utilise strong project management and operational skills to oversee multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Craft & Quality:

• Lead the team in delivering high-quality product designs, emphasising product thinking, problem-solving, visual design, and aesthetics.
• Maintain a keen eye for design details and ensure consistency in all deliverables.
• Oversee the end-to-end design process, upholding the highest quality standards.

Core Leadership:

• Mentor and support product designers in their professional growth and career development.
• Build and foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing design team.
• Actively recruit, hire, and onboard top design talent, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
• Maintain high team performance through continuous feedback and recognition.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Integrate design within the broader product strategy and business objectives.
• Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Develop and implement effective design processes and workflows to streamline collaboration and execution.
