This position will be within the Fluence Digital business unit. Fluence Digital’s IQ platform uses artificial intelligence, advanced price forecasting, portfolio optimization and market bidding to ensure energy storage and flexible generation assets are optimally participating in wholesale electricity markets.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position will be within the Fluence Digital business unit. Fluence Digital’s software technology uses fully automated data acquisition, analysis and computational algorithms powered by artificial intelligence.

Sr Product Manager focused on Reliability features for our APM platform.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead, manage the development of Reliability tools in the APM solution

Provide domain leadership in Reliability features

Assess market needs and interact with various stakeholders (sales, maketing, data science, engineering, services & customers)

Work with Software Engineering and Product Management teams to design, deploy and monitor Reliability tools

Instill a culture of R&D in the Product Management team with the goal of constant improvement in algorithm performance

Model and cultivate a culture of inclusivity, trust, exceptional communication, collaboration, respect, continuous learning, and enthusiasm for our work

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

5+ years of experience in product management or related roles

5+ years of experience working in the Reliability of renewable energy assets

Experience developing/working with Reliability centered maintenance (RCM) software

Knowledge of the Energy industry

MSc. in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineer a plus

Knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation

Certification in reliability engineering, such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), a plus

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Experience working and delivering products or services in an agile/lean environment

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build solid working relationships — from individual contributors to executives

Ability and willingness to travel
