Job Description

Your role as a junior QA tester and Automator will be hybrid, iterating between manual execution and automation of test cases based on current project needs. Your main goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible and help out manually with periodical regression test execution and feature testing.
- This position is Barcelona-based

  • Manually execute non-automated tests on periodical regressions.
  • Test design and manual execution of new features.
  • Automate new features based on test case specifications.
  • Ensure automated tests guarantee a proper coverage of the functional specifications.
  • Inform about automation technical limitations for proper coverage management.
  • Automation framework maintenance.
  • Working within a QA team.
  • Reporting and communicating to other members when a bug is found.
  • Keep up to date with technical knowledge through professional publications and/or workshops.
  • Fluid communication in English.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a manual tester
  • At least 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance automation.
  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance terminologies.
  • Basic knowledge of ISQTB, T-Map, or similar approaches.
  • Experience in an agile work environment.
  • Willingness to work within a constantly changing environment given by a growing company.
  • Experience in TypeScrip
  • Experience using Jira and X-Ray.
  • Knowledge of Playwright.
  • Experience reporting through tool integrations.
