We are seeking a contract or freelance Motion Graphic Artist to create sleek, minimal, and scientific-style videos showcasing our climate risk financial data platform. In this project-based role, you will produce high-quality motion graphics that make complex climate and financial data both clear and engaging. You’ll also handle film editing to ensure polished, professional deliverables. These videos will be used across marketing campaigns, social media, company websites, hosted and industry events and other collateral.

Key Responsibilities

• Motion Graphics Creation: Design and animate product demo videos with a sleek, minimal, scientific aesthetic, simplifying climate and financial risk concepts into compelling visuals.
• Video Editing: Edit video footage, product screen recordings, and motion elements into cohesive videos, ensuring smooth transitions, pacing, and professional polish.
• Concept Development: Collaborate with our product and marketing teams to storyboard and conceptualize videos that highlight new features and data use cases.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy, clarity, and visual consistency in final outputs, meeting both creative and scientific standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Motion Graphics Expertise: Proven experience creating product-focused motion graphics, preferably in SaaS or data-driven industries. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (or equivalent) required.
• Video Editing Proficiency: Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms. Ability to handle color correction, audio syncing, and final polish.
• Design & Aesthetic Skills: Ability to transform complex, technical information into minimalist, data-driven visual stories with a professional, scientific tone.
• Domain Experience: Familiarity with visualizing data and financial analytics is highly preferred. Experience in SaaS product video creation is essential.
• Remote Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
