Your Role:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Entry-Level UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our FX product line. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of innovative electric vehicle products that provide exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities:
- User Interface Design: Assist in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for FX products, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- User Experience Research: Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improve product usability.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and iterate on solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and product management teams to ensure cohesive and effective design implementation.
- Design Documentation: Maintain design documentation, including style guides, design specifications, and user flows.
- User-Centric Design: Advocate for the end-user by prioritizing user experience and functionality in product development, ensuring that FX products meet customer needs and preferences.
- Performance Metrics: Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure design success and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate design vision, strategy, and performance to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and partners.
- Frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and partners in China. This is essential for successful collaboration and ensuring the effectiveness of project delivery.
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Principle, et. al.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Ability to analyze user feedback and translate it into actionable design improvements.
- Strong visual design skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Passion for electric vehicles and a commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably within the automotive or technology sectors.
- Strong body of work which demonstrates an understanding of IA, UX, UI, and IX
- Experience with rapid prototyping, from paper to pixels
- Software engineering skills (you will not be expected to write code, but having an understanding of it helps when you interact with the engineering and product team)
- Writing skills: specifically, concise, engaging, user-focused copy
- Being a self-starter, working well with little oversight
Annual Salary Range:
