Your Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team on a part-time basis, 1-2 days/week (weekday only, likely to include Monday). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring a safe and sanitary space for all occupants. The Janitor will perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Basic Qualifications:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain a pristine and germ-free environment
• Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with established guidelines
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring a fresh and hygienic atmosphere
• Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals to maintain the cleanliness of various floor surfaces, including carpets, tiles, and hardwood
• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure workplace
• Be willing to adapt to changing priorities and handle special cleaning projects as needed
• Must be able to work during the weekday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
• Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed

Hourly Pay Rate:

$18.00/hour
