Job Description

Empowering a Sustainable Future

Factorial Energy is a dynamic venture-backed company dedicated to creating a sustainable future. With a passionate team of engineers and business professionals, Factorial is developing breakthrough solid-state battery technology to enable safe, scalable, and high-performance cells for electric vehicles. Operating out of its research and development facility in the Greater Boston Area, Factorial holds a portfolio of solid-state innovations, including its segment-leading FEST® (Factorial Electrolyte System Technology). The company entered joint development agreements with Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and Hyundai Motor company and was recently featured in The Boston Globe and The New York Times.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with automotive and aviation OEMs, ensuring high visibility and close collaboration.
  • Partner with Factorial's program management team to support client projects, ensuring objectives are met and relationships are strengthened.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to understand client needs, organizational dynamics, and key decision-makers.
  • Develop concise strategic account plans that align Factorial's offerings with OEMs' roadmaps and commercialization paths.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders beyond technical teams, including marketing and executive leadership, to integrate Factorial's technology into clients' long-term strategies.
  • Facilitate and support high-level discussions between Factorial executives and OEM leadership to establish and advance strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor and report on account status, identifying opportunities for growth and areas for strategic improvement.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. (required) or M.S. / PhD. (preferred) in business or engineering
  • 5+ years in sales, program management, or customer success.
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills.
  • Expertise in customer relationship and negotiation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
