Job Description

Role: Lead- Technical Trainer

Department: Operations Location: Bengaluru, India Experience: 10+Years

Your Team:

You'll be working with the After Sales team — a group that runs on coffee and an infectious passion for building products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station), which unlock 15-minute rapid charging.

Our philosophy:

Break. Believe. Build.

Break stuff, break assumptions, break the thumb rule.

Believe in the team, the process, and through failures.

Build fast, build passionately, build to simplify.

Own it like you mean it.

What you’ll own:

The Technical & Product Trainer will design, develop, and deliver comprehensive technical and product training programs for our dealership network and internal teams. This role focuses heavily on the Electric Vehicle (EV) segment for 3 Wheelers and Heavy commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between advanced EV engineering and practical dealership applications, ensuring dealer technicians, service advisors, and sales teams are fully equipped to support our EV commercial product lineup.

What you’ll do:

Technical Training Delivery

  • Conduct hands-on technical training for dealer technicians on EV architecture, high-voltage systems, powertrain, battery and chargers.
  • Train dealership staff on advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and the use of specialized OEM diagnostic tools.
  • Educate teams on rigorous high-voltage safety protocols, safety gear (PPE) utilization, and emergency response procedures.

Product & Sales Training

  • Deliver product performance, capability, and feature training to dealer sales teams and product specialists.
  • Translate complex EV commercial vehicle technical specifications into clear, value-based sales arguments (e.g., Total Cost of Ownership, charging infrastructure, payload efficiency).
  • Conduct competitive analysis training to help dealerships differentiate our EV products in the commercial market.

Content Development & Strategy

  • Create, update, and localize training modules, manuals, e-learning content, and practical assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with R&D, product planning, and engineering teams to stay ahead of upcoming vehicle launches and software updates.
  • Design simulation-based learning and hands-on trouble-shooting exercises for the training lab.

Dealer Performance & Assessment

  • Evaluate and certify dealer technicians and sales staff based on OEM global standards.
  • Monitor dealer training KPIs and conduct skill-gap analyses to recommend targeted training interventions.
  • Provide on-site or remote technical support to dealerships handling complex, first-time EV issues.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a Technical Trainer within an Automobile OEM or Tier-1 supplier.
  • Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) systems, preferably within the commercial vehicle segment (buses, trucks, or LCVs).

What matters to us:

  • Quality of work
  • Structured problem-solving
  • Dissatisfaction with mediocre work
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a dynamic working environment
  • Resilient attitude to bounce back after failing
