About the Team:

We are searching for an HR Intern to support the People & Places department by collaborating on projects, handling HR data, and being one of our go-to persons for our employees worldwide. You will report directly to the Manager, People Operations.

About the role:

During this 6 month internship, you will join the People & Places department and engage in meetings, HR administration, compliance issues, and general employment-related questions. In this role, you will learn the fundamentals of HR operations and gain insight into the clean-tech and sustainable mobility industry, and help accelerate our position as a global (thought) leader within the industry. You will provide excellent customer service to our employees while learning and developing your skills within HR. You will have ownership over your own projects, knowing that the impact you create during your internship will last.

In this role you will:

• ​​Complete operational HR tasks (including promotions, terminations, job moves, contract extensions, etc)
• Prepare employee data for payroll and benefits processing
• Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies
• Build an understanding of the different employee work environments and nurture a positive employee experience
• Collaborate and build trusting relationships with colleagues and clients
• Learn and take on other HR-related projects/duties as assigned, to support the overall business objectives

About you:

Education requirements

• Enrollment in a university in the Netherlands for the full duration the internship (studying Human Resources, Business, or a similar field)

Experience requirements

• Proficiency at using Microsoft Office package and Google workspace
• A desire to increase knowledge in HR and the clean-tech and sustainability space
• Prior work or internship experience is a plus

• Customer-oriented mindset, ability to adapt/respond to different situations
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
• Sense of responsibility, ability to independently set and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail, organizational and project management skills
• Effective presentation and communication skills
