You will develop and enhance embedded software and contribute to test automation and tool development, crucial for our embedded systems. Your role also includes integrated work with hardware components, requiring a hands-on approach to ensure seamless integration.

  • Develop and refine embedded software, focusing on automating testing and tool creation, to boost efficiency in EnOcean's embedded systems.
  • Engage in the software lifecycle from design to implementation, maintaining a commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot embedded software, adhering to coding norms and excellence standards.
  • Optimize firmware for microcontrollers and SoC devices, incorporating hardware considerations.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to craft software specifications, aiming for innovative solutions that meet product goals.
  • Ensure robust software verification, targeting superior performance, while promptly resolving any arising defects.
  • Propel software enhancements focusing on energy conservation and augmenting system robustness.
  • Document development processes meticulously, promoting knowledge exchange and best practices within the team.
  • Pursue ongoing education in embedded software advancements, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of EnOcean's product offerings.
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1-3 years experience in embedded systems, with a proven track record in test automation and tooling for embedded environments.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and a grasp of low-level programming nuances within embedded contexts.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, SoCs, and RTOS.
  • Understanding of wireless protocols like Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, EnOcean, and familiarity with IoT communication standards.
  • Detail-oriented with a zeal for writing maintainable code and upholding the highest quality benchmarks.
  • Problem-solving skills, capable of effective troubleshooting and debugging of embedded systems.
  • Collaborative spirit, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to integrate within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proactive learner, ready to adapt new technologies and methodologies in embedded software development.
