Job Description
You will have amazing opportunities to :
- Examine the shrimp and check their health status
- Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
- Dress wounds of the injured shrimp
- Vaccinate the shrimp to prevent diseases and prescribe medication
- Advise farmers on nutrition, preventive health care and general care
- Conduct site visits occasionally, in case of emergency
- Update shrimp farm records
What you will need to be succeed :
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Have PJTOH Certificate
- Minimum 3-years experience as a Veterinarian, Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian Assistant
- Experienced conducting various vaccinations and health checks on shrimp
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language
