This role is open to being 100% remote within Canada although our home office is in Toronto, Ontario. You may be required to travel to Toronto, Canada once per quarter for team and/or company events.

Who’ll You Be Joining:

At ecobee, we recognize that a stellar coordinator is the key to achieving hiring excellence. As our customer base continues to expand, this role will constantly evolve. You will become part of a dynamic team of 10 individuals in Talent Attraction & Acquisition. We seek someone who values collaboration and is enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact. Our close-knit and supportive team shares a passion for the experience a candidate has with us, above all else.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Interview Coordination: Interacting with ecobee candidates, you will help our Talent Acquisition team by scheduling a high volume of phone & video interviews as well as managing interview logistics.
  • Communication Liaison: Act as a point of contact for candidates, providing them with information and updates on the recruitment process and act as the liaison between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: By building relationships with our internal Hiring Managers and Recruitment team you will be able to ensure an efficient and candidate-centric hiring process.
  • Candidate Experience Enhancement: Contribute to improving the overall candidate experience during the recruitment process. Gather feedback from candidates and recommend improvements!
  • Application Tracking: With an eye for detail, you will have no problem ensuring our Applicant Tracking System (we use Greenhouse) is up to date with candidate information.
  • Onboarding Support: Facilitate onboarding execution, partnering with L&D for strategy and PeopleOps for HRIS administration.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in recruitment coordination. Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Prior Experience in a Coordination role involving a large volume of scheduling
  • Exposure to a scheduling automation tool such as Prelude, Calendly or Goodtime
  • Consistency and transparency is your mantra for a healthy candidate relationship
  • Master of first impressions, you dazzle with your great communication and written skills
  • Managing and prioritizing a high volume of responsibilities with a sense of urgency doesn’t phase you
  • You have a strong attention to detail, and don’t let the small things get missed!
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
  • Comfortable shifting focus in a constantly changing environment
  • Either experience or interest performing prescreen interviews
  • Passion to work with the best Talent team in Toronto!
  • Just so you know: The hired candidate will be required to complete a background check

What happens after you apply:

Interview Process (3 stages):

  • 30-minute Phone Screen with a Recruiter
  • 45-minute Video call with the Hiring Manager
  • 1 hour Video Interview with a Recruiter & Coordinator
