Who’ll You Be Joining:

You’ll be joining an energetic group of Finance professionals! We are a close and collaborative team, working together to ensure our finance operations run smoothly and that we provide actionable insights to business leaders across the company. We love to leverage each other's skills to solve problems, learn, and create efficiencies, and we have fun along the way. We are looking for a driven individual who is comfortable multitasking, driving change, engaging with stakeholders across the organization, and working in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position based out of our Toronto office.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes and ensure timely delivery to all ecobee management and corporate parent stakeholder groups
  • Understanding and performing analytical review over the income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and business KPIs as compared to previous month, budget, forecast and prior period
  • Prepare the monthly Management, Discussion and Analysis (MD&A), including the variance analysis and associated commentary
  • Own the analysis and presentation of Product and Channel P&Ls at quarterly Management Business Reviews (MBRs)
  • Tracking and determining performance to management targets
  • Take ownership of the company’s financial planning & analysis platform and drive greater engagement through the development of reports and dashboards, supported by user training
  • Automate and streamline existing processes
  • Collaborate with other analytical departments across the organization to bring new tools, data, insights, and approaches to drive increasingly insightful recommendations across the company

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • You are a CPA, with 4 to 5 years of experience working for a mid-size private or public company
  • Experience within a manufacturing or consumer electronics company considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency with cloud-based financial accounting, planning, and reporting systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Planning and SiSense
  • Understanding of export, transform, and load (ETL) processes in the context of data models maintained within an FP&A platform
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a SharePoint environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with presenting financial results and storytelling to senior stakeholders
