Who’ll You Be Joining:

We’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our Brand Marketing and Operations Team to lead Brand Management for our Home Monitoring Business. This role plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining the brand image of the Home Monitoring Business. You will be a driving force for creating, implementing and executing effective Go-To-Market Strategies to enhance brand awareness, customer loyalty and market share. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring Go-To-Market excellence across several different channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of market trends and effective marketing practices.

You will also play a critical role within the organization collaborating with the cross-functional groups across the marketing organization. These teams include, product marketing, creative operations, digital marketing, customer base marketing and communications to efficiently and effective plan, develop and deploy marketing executions that drive toward achieving business unit goals. You will be the marketing execution lead for all Home Monitoring Initiatives and will need to work with several key stakeholders to ensure marketing excellence through product launches, product optimizations, service updates and marketing audits.

This role is hybrid, with an expectation to be in the Toronto office around 1-2 days per week.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Collaborate within a matrixed organization with cross-functional stakeholders to bring Go-To-Market strategies from ideation to implementation
  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels
  • Own weekly marketing and communications leadership review meetings
  • Identify and leverage consumer, customer and market insights to help inform communications strategies, product positioning and messaging
  • Work closely with Product Marketers to create impactful Go-to-Market launch plans for new hardware and service products and existing product optimizations and experiences
  • Analyze key performance indicators to measure the success of brand initiatives, identify learnings and recommend insight-informed paths forward
  • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships that can enhance the brand’s credibility and reach
  • Manages internally and external agency partnerships

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a brand management or marketing manager capacity in a product/brand marketing department leading multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate, and communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational, planning and project management skills
  • Experience in launching a hardware or service product and recurring revenue growth
  • Skilled in utilizing data analytics tools to identify insights and make informed decisions regarding campaign performance and marketing effectiveness
  • You have a passion for sustainability and stand by the ecobee mission

  • A 45-minute second round virtual culture fit interview with the Hiring Manager and the team
  • If your first two interviews go well, you can expect a 1-hour virtual interview involving some situational and behavioral questions
