Job Description
- Disciplinary management of a team
- Identification, testing, evaluation and pre-development of new cell technologies in cooperation with benchmarking & scouting
- Generation of corresponding IP and know-how in the technologies in question
- Technological monitoring and support of product and process developments
- Identification, content-related application and implementation of publicly funded projects in line with the strategic focus
- Establishment and use of a laboratory environment for testing and evaluating new cell technologies in collaboration with Research Engineering and Site Management
- Master’s degree in the field of natural sciences (chemistry, physics) or comparable work experience
- Extensive knowledge of lithium-ion batteries and knowledge/ networking within the battery industry
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in research and development
- Experience managing teams and budgets
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
- Align roadmaps with other initiatives to ensure that the company achieves its objectives
