• Cost-analytical evaluation of finished products and components, taking into account commercial and technical aspects
• Conducting customer workshops on product pricing and acceptance
• Cost optimisation in early phases, pursuit of design-to-cost approaches
• Further development of the existing product development process
• Identification of savings potentials
• Advising the purchasing department on value-based pricing of raw materials, materials and machinery
• Preparation of customer-specific cost breakdowns and cost transparency
• Close coordination with the specialist departments for cost evaluations and plausibility checks
• Successfully completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, technical business administration or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry, ideally in the automotive or aerospace industry
• Strong cost awareness, cost affinity and entrepreneurial thinking as well as knowledge in the application of common tools for cost estimation or value analysis
• Very good knowledge of product design, technology and manufacturing
• Willingness to travel, also internationally if necessary
