Job Description
- Your mission at Climeworks is to lead DAC advancements in the USA. Coordinating structural design, conducting independent analysis, and applying engineering judgment, you'll contribute to sustainable projects with a focus on Texas and Louisiana.
- You will support the design and construction of diverse DAC projects, encompassing new developments and retrofits in the USA.
- You, in collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams, will coordinate structural design, working with professionals in Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping/Plumbing (MEP) disciplines.
- You will conduct structural analysis and design for concrete and steel structures, independently creating supporting structural calculations.
- You will make technical assumptions independently and exercise engineering judgment, and draw conclusions to complete assigned work.
- You will perform fieldwork independently or in collaboration with the design team.
- You will work on structural projects with limited supervision.
- You apply your working knowledge of building codes and structural design standards in Texas and Louisiana is a key part of your role.
- You will actively support the preparation of design drawings, plans, sections, details, and schedules.
