Job Description

• Your mission at Climeworks is to take care of industrial controls and automation for Direct Air Capture (DAC) projects, making sure they are being delivered on time and within scope and budget.
• You understand both software and hardware architecture of industrial facilities, as well as machine level controls.
• You design and have hands-on knowledge of both DCS and PLC systems, with deep expertise in one.
• You develop software, hardware and network architectures to scale up our DAC plants.
• You create technical specifications for the plant’s control system, planning and executing controls and automation within execution projects, guiding the project team through the process and ensuring scope, quality and cost targets are met.
• You lead internal project teams, managing external project partners and ensuring efficient collaboration within the team. Subsequently through launch and ramp, you actively support the production team to troubleshoot and improve the control system. Travel and site time is required during project and production.
• You mentor your peers and inspire a culture of sharing and mutual learning.
• You develop and document efficient work processes and make sure lessons learned are collected within the team and implemented in future projects.
