What The Role Is

The Senior Associate, Procurement Operations is responsible for facilitating and supporting the maintenance and implementation of SAP & Coupa processes for vendor onboarding, qualifications, vendor record and contract term diligence, invoice management, purchase order processing, relevant training, and liquidity tracking and reporting. This role will support and report to the Director of Engineering & Procurement Operations. This position will support the facilitation of internal coordination between adjacent functional groups (Business Development, Accounting, Capital Markets, Portfolio Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations) in accordance with Clearway’s Supply Chain Policy and key Development processes and procedures. The Senior Associate, Procurement Operations will work closely with other members of Accounting, Accounts Payable, Project Development, Engineering, Strategic Procurement, Construction, Procurement Operations and external Clearway vendors.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support maintaining and implementing Clearway’s ERP system for vendor management including but not limited to onboarding, pre-qualifications, purchase order issuance, and invoice management to ensure planned vendor payments are transacted on time and accurately.
  • Support training cross-functional teams who are responsible for submitting, approving, and releasing vendor payments.
  • Support the Strategic Procurement compliance with Clearway’s Supply Chain policies and procedures, and develop documentation, issue resolution, and training as needed.
  • Update liquidity tracker from project cashflow, track and forecast all pre-FNTP vendor payments and relevant requirements with cross-functional teams.
  • Support tracking and maintaining vendor records in Clearway’s ERP system and Strategic procurement in reaching out to vendors to update their insurance, safety form, bank account information, and relevant vendor information.
  • Review purchase requisition requests confirming alignment with contract terms and supplier records.
  • Approves and issues purchase orders to suppliers and internal project leads.
  • Review and process change orders for legal signature and communicate to the project team.
  • Coordinates with the accounts payable team and project team to resolve invoicing issues.
  • Build relationships with internal colleagues in accounting, legal, accounts payable, treasury, project team, engineering, construction, and strategic procurement, as well as externally with Clearway’s partner vendors.
  • Ad hoc reporting related to procurement to pay support including but not limited to invoice register weekly reporting, spend report, (i.e., vendor payments), and relevant reporting from Clearway’s ERP system

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance, Business Administration, Construction Management/Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience with procurement to pay process including invoicing management, and supply chain operations.
  • Previous experience in supply chain operations, purchase order management, reviewing contract net terms, invoice diligence, and reporting, and excellent customer service internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Strong analytical skills and process-oriented with new ERP system.
  • Proficiency in contract terms and various software programs such as SAP, Coupa, and MS Office programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including an understanding of contract language; strong organizational skills.
  • Team player, willingness to work in collaboration with other teams from other functional groups.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.

Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations

$98,000—$130,000 USD
