CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of ERP Business Process Specialist, to work with Business Operations and Finance Unit.

The positions will be based at CIMMYT headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.

Specific duties:

  • Maintain ERP system operations, ensuring the continuity and quality of the business processes and services.
  • Conduct business process analysis and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Document current and future state business processes using business process modeling tools and standards.
  • Participate in other units’ business processes streamlining initiatives to ensure alignment with ERP projects.
  • Analyzes business process issues and improvements and provides solution recommendations to Business users and IT management in a timely manner.
  • Create well-written and effective professional documentation.
  • Functional requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, understand software functionality and recommend solutions using best practices.
  • Prepare training materials, as well as conduct major user specific training sessions.
  • Understands the capabilities of the D365 ERP platform and knows how to configure it to meet business needs.
  • Design and development of financial and operational reports using SSRS, PowerBI, Management Reporter and other Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools.
  • Assist in ISO 20000 processes such as but not limited to: incident and service management, problem management, change management, design and transition, release and deployment.
  • Support the BOF Expert in business process improvements by implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP System capabilities.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported by end-users, escalate to KMIT or to third-party service providers if needed.
  • Provide Microsoft Dynamics 365 daily functional support to end-users in the areas of procure to pay, Inventory and warehousing, Financials and Project Accounting
  • Assist end-user in month-end closings, ensuring all processes are executed, trial balance disbalances are communicated to the Finance Managers
  • Assist in the Integrated management reporting pack (IMRP) and ANAPLAN report run immediate after month-end closing.

Requirements

  • The candidate must have bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology)
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP experience (AX2012 R2/R3, Dynamics 365 F&O preferred or similar ERP)
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in ERP concepts, implementation principles, practices, and methodology)
  • Experience with Project management and project accounting for non-profit organizations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics AX development environment, Visual Studio, SQL Management Studio, SSRS, ETL using SSIS, SSAS, Management Reporter, PowerBI and SharePoint is a plus but not required.
  • Dynamics Ax2012 /365 Finance and Operations certification desirable
  • Working knowledge of SAP Concur, SAP Ariba, Coupa or Kyriba TMS, Sensus BPM, ClickLearn desirable but not required.
  • Intermediate level in the use Productivity Tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel,Visio, MS Project
  • Advanced level in English language (English test will be administered; candidate must score a minimum of C as per CEFR).
  • The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Critical thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem-Solving decision-making, Negotiation, and Conflict resolution.
