About Charm

Our mission is to reverse climate change and return the atmosphere to 280 ppm CO₂, profitably. We convert waste biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil and inject it into permanent, underground storage as carbon removal, or reform the bio-oil to produce syngas for fossil-free steel.

Our carbon removal pathway took off in 2020 with initial purchases from customers like Stripe, Shopify & Microsoft. In 2021 and 2022 we delivered thousands of tons of carbon removal via off-the-shelf pathways, and also deployed our first R&D prototype pyrolyzer of our own. In the next 18 months, we'll build and deploy the next pyrolyzer revision, demonstrate our fossil-free ironmaking pilot, substantially expand our operations in Colorado and put thousands of tonnes of CO₂e underground.

About the Role

Charm is actively seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as an Office and Talent Coordinator. This role will need to be in person and will be scheduled over weekends to support our anticipated 24/7 operations. There is flexibility in the non weekend days. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the workplace experience at Charm, managing essential office operations, and making significant contributions to the Charm’s growth by facilitating the attraction and onboarding of top talent. The ideal candidate will be a skilled multitasker with exceptional organizational and communication abilities, committed to fostering a positive and welcoming work environment that aligns with Charm’s values.

Your Responsibilities:

Culture and Team Building:

Champion company culture and values

Organize initiatives for a positive, inclusive workplace

Coordinate team-building activities and events

Recruitment Coordination:

Coordinate all aspects of the recruitment process, from scheduling interviews to onboarding

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements

Candidate Experience:

Ensure candidates have a positive and seamless experience throughout the recruitment process

Act as the main point of contact for candidates, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates

Gather feedback from candidates to continuously improve the recruitment process

Onboarding Support:

Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization

Coordinate orientation sessions and assist with necessary documentation

Serve as a resource for new hires, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and facilitating their integration into the company culture

Event Planning and Logistics:

Assist in planning and coordinating internal and external events

Provide logistical support to ensure event success

Facilities Support:

Order supplies and food as needed

Provide additional support to the onsite facilities team

Proactively identify process improvements:

Take a proactive approach to streamline and enhance coordination processes

Continuously seek opportunities to optimize efficiency and candidate experience
