What You Will Be Doing

ChargePoint is hiring a Staff QA engineer with significant testing and automation experience. As a member of the team, you will participate in the design, development, and testing of web software features on our networked EV charging stations spanning across areas such as driver experience, EV charging protocols, and networking. The Software QA Team focuses on an array of charging solutions comprising Home, Commercial AC, DC Fast and Ultrafast DC stations, being deployed across the world.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Participate in design meetings for Web application projects. Create test plans, test cases and other QA documents based on software requirements and specifications. Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation and automated scripts from verbal communications
• You will be working closely with the development team, participating in test planning sessions and retrospective reviews to capture actions and suggestions. You'll identify and prioritise test cases for UI/ API automation and also perform manual testing for the active Sprint to ensure product meets quality needs
• Participate in product design, and ensure maintainability and test-ability is considered as part of design. Automate
  features delivered to ensure sustainability. Report defects and follow-through as necessary to complete the testing cycle
• Devise and carry out both manual and automated tests to establish the quality of the software under test
• Conduct root cause analysis of field failures and work with the development team to resolve them
• Plan and prioritize own work in discussion with the Project Manager, Test Manager and other team members
• Maintain effective relationships across all stakeholder groups

Requirements

• Alteast 8 years of experience in testing customer facing popular web based apps is required.
• Must know UI / API Automation.
• Have to be very good in Selenium.
• Python/Java experience.
• Must have experience in leading QA for testing projects.
• Certified tester ( CSTE / ISEB ) preferable.
• High energy individuals with can-do attitude, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Must be familiar agile development practices.
• Familiarity with Web application testing is required.
• Experience in testing and automating of web applications or Enterprise level applications will be added plus.
