Job Description

Businesses must decarbonize their operations to achieve real climate progress. Some emissions are unavoidable, and that’s where CEEZER comes in.

CEEZER is a platform for CO2 compensation and high-tech removal credits with access to >8,000 climate projects worldwide, verified by globally recognized registries. Transactions take place between corporations and project developers at the source, without any middlemen or hidden fees. CEEZER achieves this by providing scientific quality and pricing insights that help buyers and sellers interact, while allowing them to monitor credits in a balanced, high-quality portfolio.

We are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive (f/d/m). You’ll work closely with our experienced founding team & SVP Business Development in a collaborative, fast-moving, VC-funded startup.

You are at the forefront of driving our revenue growth by generating new business and developing long-term partnerships. You achieve this by:

  • Taking ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting to close and beyond
  • Delivering a value-based selling experience to customers
  • Engaging with prospective customers to understand their sustainability strategy and carbon credit needs
  • Ensuring customers achieve their net zero goals and business objectives by deriving maximum value of our product
  • Maintaining and managing the customer pipeline in our CRM platform
  • Working closely with our Impact team to develop high-quality carbon portfolios to support client goals
  • Partnering with Marketing and Sales Development to develop multifaceted campaigns that drive engagement and, ultimately, new, qualified leads
  • Attending conferences and traveling as needed to meet with prospective and current clients
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Sales/Business Development experience with complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • A background in communicating with and creating value for Sustainability executives, with an understanding of the drivers behind corporate climate action
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • A quickly adaptable mindset to changing priorities in an evolving business environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to executives
  • An innovative and hands-on mentality, and think big
  • Readiness to jump in and be part of a fun team!
