**Role

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Senior Software Engineer with experience in machine development. We are looking for innovators and systems thinkers to discover solutions to complex problems and to design and implement fit-for-purpose test campaigns. This is a full-time position and requires an advanced degree in Computer Science or proven experience in a related field. We offer you the chance to lead software initiatives in close partnership with our advanced machine development team. It's of great importance that you are comfortable working with dynamic, cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities

• Design and establish foundational software layers inside our machine development team, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
• Be a driving force to advance Carbyon's software engineering capabilities, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Translate software and architectural concepts from design to development and into scalable implementations.
• Drive the evolution of software and architectural projects, ensuring rapid delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
• Engage in dynamic software testing within Carbyon's demanding environment, swiftly identifying issues, reporting findings, and suggesting solutions.

• Operate both autonomously and as a key player within interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and championing innovative, top-tier software solutions and design.
