Your key focus will be:

• Update, Checking and approval of Mechanical data sheet, basis of design, scope of work etc. for Rotating packed bed (RPB)
• Reviewing the RPB Supplier deliverables from Concept to commissioning such as Concept design, detailed design, General arrangement drawing, 3D model review, manufacturing drawings etc.
• Review of calculation such as ASME Sec VIII, FEA reports and Rotodynamic analysis of RPB.
• Review of inspection and test plan, witness of stage inspection such as non-destructive testing, hydrotest etc. and monitoring the fabrication progress.
• Review of purchase specification and sub-Vendor drawing for bought out items such as mechanical seal, seal plan etc.
• Co-ordination and interface engineering with other disciplines such as Civil / Structural, piping, Electrical and instrumentation.
• Review and approval of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedure, witness of FAT for the RPB and review of inspection reports.
• Coordination with Client / Consultant, Inter-discipline, Project team, Site team, Vendors & Sub-Contractors.
• Experience in Model Review and HAZOP / DFMEA activities and closing out hazop recommendations.
• Review of final Vendor data book, Operation and Maintenance manual, material test certificates.
• Installation checks, pre-commissioning, integration with main module and commissioning of RPB at Site.
• To review and analyse the gap analysis of RPB specification with Client specification and industry standards.

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Experience in design and detail engineering and site experience of Rotating equipments in FPSO is mandatory.
• Knowledge and experience in handling international Codes and Standards, Client Specifications.
• Knowledge and experience in similar Rotating equipment, Mechanical seal, Seal flushing plans, Bearing, Gearbox, V-belt / pulleys etc.
• Knowledge and some experience in handling pressure Vessel is preferred.
