Warehouse Pick/Pack Associate – Forklift Operator (First Shift or Second Shift)

You have a passion for energy efficiency. You are looking to join a team where hard work is valued. You want to grow with a company that is committed to change.

We are growing and have immediate need to hire an additional permanent Warehouse Pick/Pack Associate (40 hours/week) with potential for growth and additional responsibilities in our Milford, CT facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unload, check in, receive, and put away product
  • Pick and pack product for shipment to contractors
  • Perform cycle counting and stock verification
  • Transfer product between inventory business units based on set of guidelines
  • Storing, cutting, packing, loading for shipment
  • Receiving, building, shipping Kits/BOMS
  • Following safety techniques and participation in safety programs
  • Meeting productivity standards and ensuring accuracy of work to ensure set standards for inventory accuracy
  • Material Tracking for receiving, item look up and inventory functions, Shipping Manifesting system.
  • Operation of pallet jacks, fork trucks, lift trucks, reach trucks, order pickers

Required skills and qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification to operate forklifts (ex: OSHA in the US)
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Strong abilities in mechanical testing and implementation
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting on a consistent basis
  • Must be detail-oriented for quality purposes – batch numbers, part numbers, product locations.
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Meet all regular hours and overtime hours as needed.
  • Be able to take direction well.
  • Meet inventory accuracy standards.
  • Motivated to work.
  • Understand and meet all safety standards.
  • English proficiency is required to operate safely and efficiently

Hours: 8-4pm (flexible) or second shift (8 hours)

Salary Range: $20-25.00/hour based on factors including level of experience, skill set, qualifications, and location.
