Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and deploy robotics software pipelines on real-world systems; develop and test efficient image processing and computer vision algorithms; integrate a variety of sensors in a real-time perception system to improve safety-critical decision-making algorithms; develop embedded platform tools for agricultural machines; investigate and solve robotics system challenges; analyze robotics system performance and accuracy; 100% remote working allowed; can live anywhere in US; periodic visits to office required.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or foreign academic equivalent. Will accept any level of experience in the following skills: Build and maintain robotics pipelines using ROS; Interface with camera sensors and process image data; Develop efficient algorithms and improve system performance using object oriented programming in C / C++; Utilize system dynamics and controls algorithms for accurate state estimation and control; Integrate a variety of sensors in real-time perception systems; Develop tools in a Linux environment for an embedded robotics platform; Use Python scripting for robotics, data processing and visualization; Design image processing and computer vision algorithms for object detection, using stereo camera sensors; Deploy real-time robotics systems; 100% remote working allowed; can live anywhere in US; periodic visits to office required.
